Help, with sky multiroom??.

Posted by: Webke on 03 February 2005

I have just purchased a small tv for the bedroom, I live in a new apartment and have an arial socket on the wall that receives a signal from the roof main arial. I have now discovered that this doesnt work!- and..since we are on the bottom floor the small external arial supplied doesnt work either.

We do have sky tv in the front room, what are the possible options so that I can get a decent picture. I remember you used to be able to get little devices (called rabbit adapters??) that can transmit the signal from one tv to another.

What are my options? - thanks guys.

I was hoping someone would come out of the woodwork with a good answer too as I may have the same "problem" when I move house later this year....
Come on guys: someone somewhere has a multiroom Sky setup!

My current house has a hard-wired UHF amplified system to every room with an aerial connection which was a total pain to install.
In my next house, I would like to able to view Sky in my bedroom and TV room.
Is there a wireless "thingy"?......

If you have a sky box you can run an extension out of the back of this box to a remote 'eye', Sky supply such things but I don't know at what cost. best speak with them. Also may be worth visiting this forum for more info:
