Dunno about Nero, but Ulead Video Studio does this a treat. You have control over how long each image is displayed, transitions, ripping and level of the music, vocal commentary, titles etc.

O and you can use it to edit video onto DVD as well Wink

You can't do it using Nero alone, what you need is a video editing program such as Pinnacle Studio (I have version 9) where you can add all the jpegs and add a sound track.
You can set the time you want each image displayed for and if you want to, add a "transition" between each picture (cross-fade or whatever)
You then play the final disc as a movie (VDC or DVD) in your DVD player or on your PC.
As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to make a jpeg CD-ROM with a music back ground any other way.
The alternative is to make a data disc with just the jpegs on and listen to your Naim system whilst your DVD player does the jpeg slideshow Smile

Computers are supposed to work on 1's and 0's - in other words "Yes" or "No" - why does mine frequently say "Maybe"?......

You could make something similar in powerpoint, couldn't you?

Create a PowerPoint presentation with all the timings and transitions you require and just save to a data CD in Nero in the normal manner. Add an autorun.inf file to autorun it when you place the CD into a tray etc. and you have your solution.

Plenty of info. on the net about creating autorun, inf files - it's just a little text file.

You can also mess around with order and timings before commiting to disk (I'm sure you can do this to Ulead also) but the great advantage over Ulead is that many more people will have PP or be able to download a viewer should you ever wish to distribute far and wide.
