Woeful ignorance...mine, that is!

OK, jumped at the chance to add a Stageline to my new-to-me 112/150/FlatCap 2. Alas, due to my lack of research, I did not realize that the thing didn't have RCA inputs for my turntable. So, what the heck are they? BNC's? I hesitate to replace the RCA's on the output from my Rega 9. Guess I have to find adapters? Suggestions are welcome.

Steve C your local dealer should be able to supply adapters.Maplins and RS have them as well. Thy go on the BNCs for the RCA to plug into.

Hang on a minute!
A Stageline has a pair of RCA inputs and a Din output which also carries the power.
So connection is as follows:
1) TT --> Stageline = RCA -->RCA + Earth terminal --> Earth terminal
2) Stageline --> FlatCap2 = SNAIC (power from Flatcap2 -> Stageline / Signal frrom Stageline -> Flatcap2)
3) Flatcap 2 --> 112 = Din 4 pin out on Flatcap2 --> Din 5 pin in on 112.

Note make sure you use the right "aux 1" socket on the 112 and put the shorting plug in the other one.

Go to this link which will lead you to the manuals. Once there look in the Connections manual and the 112 manual.

The adaptors from maplins are 1.99 each and are the same ones supplied by naim when the need arises.

Let me see if I have this right.

1. It looks to me like the Stageline will power directly from the 112, just like with the Nait 5. I can go 5 pin to 5 pin from the left hand Aux 2 to the Stageline.

2. I can also use the FlatCap by going from Stageline to FlatCap via 5 pint to 5 pin, then FlatCap to 112 using a 4 pin to 5 pin to the right hand Aux 2, just like on the Nait. Right?

You are correct as you describe for both 1) & 2).

Option 2 should give you a better sperformance than 1), but 1) is still ok if you don't want the expense of the leads etc.
