When is an NAIT5 warm and can you enjoy from the total and perfectly sound?

I've heard that i've to let the amp 24/7 on. Is it warm after 1 hour/1 day/ 1 week ?

Or is it getting warm when i'm playing music?

How does it works?

Leave the Nait on 24/7 to "warm up" and "break in".
Even if left on permanently, it may still feel "cool to the touch".
It'll only really get warm or hot after seriously loud playing.
If it's a used or 2nd hand Nait, it will already be "run in" but will sound better once it's been left on for several days.
If it's new, it'll take a number of weeks before it sounds it's best.
"Warming up" is really an expression used to say that the internals have reached their normal operating temperature and not that the casing gets warm. I believe I'm correct in saying that it doesn't actually need to be playing music to "warm up".

Computers are supposed to work on 1's and 0's - in other words "Yes" or "No" - why does mine frequently say "Maybe"?......

Thanks, i bought it a view days a go. And the person had played with the amp several weeks or monts ago.

He bought it in October 2003. And he was not happy with the Naim sound. So he was selling it.

And now i've bought the amp for just € 700,- and 5 years garantee. Its a great deal i think

Mine always sounds better after 20 mins or so, or at least it sounds louder. I leave mine on 24/7. If I power it down it takes about 4 to 5 days ro reach optimum, but it still sounds good after switch on.
