Has anyone here got an interesting haircut?

With all of the wide variety of folk here someone must have one?

Home-made No.3 with the Wahl HandiCut for me.

20 seconds. Then a shower. No worries.

I once had a perm. Oh dear.

Home-made No.2 with the Wahl for me.

20 seconds. Then a shower. No worries.

I never had a perm. My 'style' is the opposite of a mohican - nowt on top and a ring of hair at the sides Roll Eyes

No.2 with a good buffing for the Bald Pate. Costs £5.50 for less than a minute. What's a Wahl handicut?

From what I've seen at hi-fi shows, interest in personal grooming is inversely proportional to interst in hi-fi.

I'm sure David just wants to find someone who'll admit to a mullet.

Wahl, no guard. I have had some terrible haircuts, but shaving it all off has fixed the problem for good.

I fancy one of those pro-model Wahls.

Mick,

I think a lot of people would like to know about your haircut and those of other forumati?

We have a monthly "hair party" for a bunch of us. Our good friend and Sassoon-trained stylist Dyllon does anywhere from 3-10 cuts and/or colors througout the affair.

I wouldn't entrust my hair to anyone else, and I certainly wouldn't attempt a DIY job (regardless of how cool the tool was). Besides, Dyllon is far cooler than any silly electric razor.

Was on holiday in Spain and saw this 20-year old elite female mountain bike racer with a t-shirt that said "business in the front, party in the back."

She claimed this was about mullets. Not sure I believed her.

I grew up in a town which could challenge for the right to call itself 'Mulletville, capital city of Mulletania'.

I'm scarred for life.

Anyone who wears a mullet cannot be taken seriously.

So, it seems that the favoured styles of the forumati are the Mullets or none hair at all, EXCEPT facial hair which is welcome at all times, and seems to be encouraged.

I myself have been cultivating a Albert Einstein style 'Mad Professor' fizz bang of white hair, but am just about to be robbed of it because the Wife has issed an ultimatum, so off to the barbers it is. Frown

Sorry, but my son and I don't fit that mold at all.

What a sweet little boy you have!
How old is he??

I have 2 1/2 yr old twins.

Thanks. He's about 1-month-old in that picture, but he turned 2-months just 2 days ago. Yes, he's a good kid and (thankfully) very easy to take care of. Even with his easy maintenance, though, I can imagine how difficult it would be to handle twins. Eek Good on ya!

How big was he when he was born?
Is he your first?

Joe90
Posted on: 05 April 2004 by Mike Hanson
He was 9-pounds, 4-ounces (4.2kg), which was pretty big to begin with. I'm not sure what he weighs right now, but he's got a doctor's appointment today, so we'll find out.

Yes, he's our first and will also be our last. Jill and I wanted the experience of raising a child, but we aren't interested in the effort required to raise any more. Also, I'm 40 this year, and I don't want to be more than 60 when the kid grows-up.
