So what, I don't see what the problem is?
Posted on: 17 February 2005 by cunningplan
He's supposed to be banned Eek
Posted on: 17 February 2005 by Barnie
Oh, I see. Isn't this a new forum = new start though?

I say bury the hatchet, unless Vuk starts hacking posters up....

He must be from a two-IP address family...

The moderators ban IP addresses when they ban members unless I'm much mistaken.

Is Ayre banned as well ? If he is, which I sincerely hope he isn't, at least he's no Mata Hari jumping from forum to forum telling tales, innit.

Fritz Von Can't trust no John can yer Jack ? Cool

Chaps

I have always rated Vuk as the greatest ever contributor to Hifi fora. His only weakness is that he gets upset by a few dim witted brainless morons, who should themselves be banned instead of him.

I hope he comes back, this forum needs a good kick start again and he is the man to do it.

Mick

Mick,

I know you've always had some sort of admiration for this guy, but as far as I see it, he's a troll. His main aim is to antagonise people for his own pleasure. He also enjoys taking the piss out of Naim.

If you look at his posts already, there's a history of menace. Some of you love him, some hate him.

What I do find amusing is that a few days ago, wolfy was arguing about photographic formats on this forum and I felt sorry for him because he seemed to know absolutely nothing on the subject. I thought he was a young student and I didn't want to correct him.

Count'd

Yes I do admire vuk.

He is responsible for some of the best postings and in depth research, particularly on stands that I have ever seen on hifi fora.

His problem is that he has a short fuse with dim wits and two of them in particular got on his nerves and he let rip at them.

One of the "dim wits" was unfortunate but the other made some racist comments and frankly got what he deserved.

I suspect most of this was before your time, but take my word for it, he was bloody good and really got people thinking about their hifi and how to get the best out of it.

Back in the old days, Mana was supported by brain dead morons such as Mr Pig who alienated the company by their appalling behaviour and when I say appalling, I really do mean appalling in the most loutish of ways. Mana became a by word for thuggery and intolerance due to his sort.

Vuk went over there and by sheer power of persuasion and intellect, sold Mana to lots of people. I never bought the stuff myself but he had me thinking about it. He did more to promote Mana than anyone else I can think of.

We need more like him.

Also you can lose your rag on the odd occassion but I still like having you around.

Regards

Mick

"I have always rated Vuk as the greatest ever contributor to Hifi fora"

But Mick simply by having a notion of Best Hi-Fi Poster Evah you clearly win the award whatever the merits or otherwise of Lord Vuksanovic of Mordor.

Mick

Until that comment I thought you had no sense of irony. I stand corrected.

Yes I thought 'wolfe-shepmann' bore a rather unsettling resemblence to Mr Vuksanovic when he started moaning about how this forum isn't as good as it used to be (rather like Mick in fact) and it left me wondering what his forum-handle was in 'those days'. That plus the unusual interest he took in the recent photography thread....

It had crossed my mind, I must admit.

Anyway, are you allowed to shed your skin on an internet forum ?

I think the Cell is on the up again.

That would require someone to do a decent wolfbagging joke I think.

Fritz Von I don't exist really I know, but pretend otherwise for once, then you too can be a star, innit.

The last couple of threads about offensive language ran to well over 50 replies and devolved into criticism of the moderation or sniping. A thread entitled "Paging Mick Parry" went over budget as well. I wonder whether this one will take off.

Is the Naim forum really so personality driven?

Don't flatter yourself, Vuk wasn't great, you only have to look at his photography to see that! He was just a nutter with balls. Samantha has some great assets though...
