Quad FM tuner technical question

I have a Quad FM2 valve tuner,the annoying thing about this tuner is the low output compared to my CDX CD player.I love the sound of it but it's not loud enough.I have a valve amp(restricted power) so wondered if it's possible to increase it's output? I do not wish to replace my amp.Any advice would be great.
