252 or CDX2/XPS2

My current system:
102 Preamp
2 x 135s
Supercap 2
Linn Kabers (passive)
Arcam FMJ23 CD.....(!)
I have a really difficult but pleasant decision to make in the next month or so. Which do I spend my money on first, the 252 or CDX2 & XPS2?
I know the Arcam is woefully lacking but I just can't come to a conclusion on where my money should go and would greatly appreciate your advice.

Why not go with the CDX2 and a 282? Probably more balanced then just a 252 or a CDX2/XPS2.

Source first to avoid a case of the mullets. The 252 is extremely revealing of a poor front end so if you think the Arcam is woefully lacking now it will be even worse with the 252.

Definitely the source (and power supply) first in this case. Up the pre amp next upgrade to 252.
That's what I would do. The CDX2 and XPS2 is a jaw dropping combo that will even be apparent with the 102.
