I would highly recommend this album, takes a while for it to come through from amazon, but well worth the wait.

Couldnt agree more, I've had this for about 10 years. He still tours around the South York area from time to time too

Jon also has another album out called 'Honest Soldier'. It is also suberb but only available from Jon himself either at gigs or via his website which I can't remember the address of. He gigs less frequently nowadays, he no longer has a band, although he has done a couple of solo gigs. He plays The New Roscoe at Leeds a couple of times a year, I believe there is a link on their website to his website. A much underated performer, imho, also a great guy with a brilliant Yorkshire sense of humour, always has time to chat with his fans even a greasy old rocker like me!

Excellent, thanks for that, will have a cheque in the post tomorrow.

What label is it on I wonder?

It's not on any label, it's a home made job recorded at Tube Studios in Leeds, I think he had a bit too much right hand down on the bass knob though! I will be at the next gig too, anybody know if he's got a band together yet or will he be solo? It's such a shame that Roy and Duncan left, they were electric together.

I'm pretty sure I've got something of JS' on Linn vinyl. Dunno if I've actually ever properly listened to it - must dig it out.
