Slang and vernacular

I've just been watching that dreadful Judge Deed thing on the TV; what on earth does "diss" mean? It seems to be used as a verb, thus, "to diss". E.g. Don't diss me, man. What does it mean? Annoy?

Also, it reminded me that I've always wanted to know what the "A" stands for in "fuckin' 'A'"?

Just idle curiosity, if anyone kens?

Anyway, I'm going to have a tinny and listen to Brahms.

Cheers,

Lomo,

The Americans probably did not notice,ay.

Rico,

You are close with "eh" but Lomo has it better as "ay".
...and when in Rome do what the Romans do, ay.
Then again I must remember that Kiwi's do their vowels different to us Aussies.
I had a good kiwi mate tell me about when we went to "Brazil and ventured out to the weld seas feshing with hes father".
So I asked what else did you do in Brazil and he said no "NZl". We were having a few quiet ones and the black caps were getting thrashed..sorry
