If it comes with a full 2 year warranty and is in mint condition then yes. At least you won't have to worry about burn-in issues.

Persomally, I think £2400 is a little over the top, for not much more you could buy a brand new one.
I would've thought about £2100 tops for a 2 year old 282.

I confess I thought it was a bit steep but it is apparently in mint condition and comes with the full warranty.

In January I bought my local dealers 9 month old 282 in mint condition for £2050. I think you have some room for negotiation.

I wouldn't pay that for it. A bit of discount on a brand new one wouldn't be much more.
However; at the risk of getting you to spend more; your dealer has more profit to 'play with' if you order something else new with it; and this might get you a really good deal on a Hi-Cap/S-Cap etc:

I'm afraid no Naim dealer I've ever dealt with has been in the slightest interested in giving any discounts. Maybe it's not the done thing round here, or maybe I've just got one of those faces!

depends on a lot of factors; time of year, previous custom etc etc. But if you don't ask you don't get. Are they going to say 'bugger off' at the insult of asking for discount?
Some would say don't ask for whatever reason. I say why not?
Worst they can say is not then you have lost nothing.
