Alternative to dedicated spur

Hi All

I am interested to find out what peoples opinion is of new main leads/ blocks.

I live in a rented house so I can not lay down any new cabling untill I finally buy my own place so the idea of one of these mains blocks that is supposidly miles better than a standard 4 ways mains block springs to mind.

Has anybody used these, if so did you find it better and why? Also any particular recomendations would be kindly received.

Thanks

Stevie, see:

some people on the Naim Forum swear by the PS Audio P500 for purposes you are concerned with.

Hi Rich,

That is not exactly what I am looking for. Basically I am looking for something about the size of a standard 4 way mains block.

Cheers

Stevie,
I would recommend you take a look at the Grahams Hydra. This basically terminates a number of standard Naim power cords in to a single plug. I replaced a "normal" 4 way power strip with one of these and found it a big upgrade for the money (about £60). A further gain was obtained by replacing the wall socket itself with a single switchless MK socket.

Tom

Hi Tommy

Is there a website that I can look at for this?
