Addictive game

I was just sent this game. All you have to do is click on the red square and move it so as to avoid hitting the sides or the moving blue rectangles for as long as you can.

red square game

18 seconds is supposed to be a good time but after five minutes of trying (during which I mostly survived for less than two seconds) I reached 30.48. I'm not terribly well coordinated, so much better times must be possible - unless the blue rectangles speed up repeatedly.

Jeremy, good fun. After a couple of tries I got as far as 25 seconds -- it speeds up at some point, doesn't it?

I think the trick is not to look at the blue squares or the perimeter, but to keep your eye on the home square as you move it.

Yes. I just tried the game again, made the same moves twice in a row and got zapped after 24s through being caught out by the speed-up.

Just over 20 seconds after about 30 goes. My finger aches now though.

You can do the first ten seconds sitting in the top left hand corner. Even so, i still can't get over 20. Doh!

Up, no left, down a bit... Aaarggh!

Best so far 25.1, worst .11.

If you move fast enough you can go through the blue rectangles...

Simon - clearly a fluke, most of mine are in the 40's, and my best since that is 72.815.
