Nothing wrong with real chips, especially served with Fish, as a meal it isn't even particularly unhealthy.
Anyway, for comfort food, either the above or a peanut butter and honey sandwich (it has to be Skippy peanut butter, though).

Madrange ham, Emmental cheese and Mayonnaise de Dijon sandwich. Bread to taste/mood/what's in the bread bin and not mouldy/stale.

Steve.

So that's where Mr Parry was going wrong in his quest for the body of a Greek God!
He should have been eating "Fish, chips and curry sauce" rather than embarking on exercise routines...

In fairness a chip done right really takes some beating.
I like cheese on toast, but mostly I eat marmite on toast, and I use a lot of marmite, I put more marmite on than most people would put jam on.

Comfort food - well, that has to be a fry-up with veggie sausages, veggie bacon (OK you meat eaters, button it ok?!), mushrooms, mini potatos out of a tin and fried, beans, fried eggs (2), tomatos, toast and black coffee.

Rasher, suddenly your on line name makes no sense.
Also potatoes out of a can for a fry up, jesus man everyone knows the only healthy item allowed on a fry up plate is tomato, and this should be fried in butter,

Gary,
Or perhaps 'In fairness fish done right really takes some battering.'
Only you would consider fried canned potatoes healthy.

First off, a hot sausage roll with brown sauce
followed by
A pork pie with Grey Poupon mustard
then
A pizza with no cheese, but lotsa tomato, anchovies, olives, pine nuts and an egg in the middle. With big fat chips cooked in beef dripping, smothered in ketchup
topped off with
A steak and kiney pudding with mashed potato and lashings of Lea & Perrins
afterwards:
A fish finger sarnie with Heinz ketchup in thick soft white bread
to finish:
A tub of Green & Black's chocolate ice-cream
Burp! Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
Kevin
PS Care to join me, Mr Parry?
