A New York J*** Record Shop

I'm going to New York City in a couple of weeks and want to find again a store I visited a few years ago but can’t remember its name or where it was. It was a very large jazz record and memorabilia shop on an upper floor of an off the beaten track building somewhere in Manhattan.

Can anyone help me find this again?

That sounds like the Jazz Record Center at:

236 West 26th Street
Room 804 (8th floor)

Quality control is good, but prices are highish. Props to Robert Derwae for introducing me to this shop.

Also make sure you hit Footlights.
