New Mum single recommended

Chaps,
The thread title says it all, but if you are at all interested in glitchy icelandic electronica (and let's face it, who isn't?), then the new Mum CD is a cracker. Two tracks of total bliss.
I'm off to see them at the Old Vic in a couple of weeks, so I'll post a review after that!
Cheers

AG - I didn't know it was out, thanks for the tip off! More shopping to do for me I think.
Nick and AG - yep, Boomkat is the business. They tried to deliver Marcof's Ulyses and The Remote Viewer's Here I go again on my own while I was away.
I will post my thoughts on these once I have picked them up from the post office this weekend.

It's a gem, isn't it. Anyone else going to see them later in the month? The dates are on the Fat Cat site.

Well, I saw them at The Old Market in Hove last night and I thought they pretty much sucked. Most tracks degenerated into a dirge, but on others, like Once a Shiny Morning Puddle, they tried to rock out (???) but just sounded clumsy. Some of it could have been down to the sound in the venue, I don't know, but mostly it seemed like they just hadn't really got it together.

Mekon,
That sounds really disappointing. Not sure whether or not to bother going now. There's plenty of better things I could do with my time.

Just checked Amazon and nothing new showed up, which is a pity since I really like their last album.

It's on Amazon.co.uk if you are keen, just search for 'summer make good'. I am waiting for it on vinyl, and they appear to be making an effort:

Important Vinyl Edition Update
For the connoisseur of very fine and beautiful things, the vinyl version of ‘Summer Make Good’ something to look forward to. A double album housed in a gatefold sleeve, it has been mastered directly from analogue tape without the intervention of digital technology – which gives the songs that fat, warm sound so apparent on the records of yesteryear. The D – side features an original etching of the Galtivardi Lighthouse.

We had hoped that the vinyl would be available at the same time as the CD, but this has unfortunatley, not been possible. Production dates have been pushed back further and further in the face of huge manufacuring difficulties and delay has been unavoidable. We sincerely regret this situation and apologise for any inconvenience.

I found the CD on insound (sorry for the caps):

"THIS ITEM IS A PRE-ORDER AND WILL SHIP ON OR NEAR THE MAY 4TH RELEASE DATE. THE FIRST 50 PRE-ORDERS WILL RECEIVE A SILK-SCREENED TOTE BAG AND IMPORT 7"; THE SECOND 50 PRE-ORDERS GET A 3" IMPORT CD SINGLE AND FOUR LIMITED-EDITION POSTCARDS!"

I also picked up double vinyl of Godspeed you black emperor/raise... and sigur ros () which
were impulse buys.
