Have been offered an immaculate condition CDI for @ £700 - worth it or not?

Someone (was it Gary I?) just sold one this past Sunday for £350 via the PFM classifieds.
For £700 it had better have been serviced just this morning.

RoyleBlue,
While they might sound great, the one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that the mecahnism for this player is now obsolete and new ones are no longer available. I believe Naim have a number of refurbished mechs which they can fit for around £300, but when these go that's it.
It's also possible that it needs a service, which costs around £300, so you could end up spending the £700 plus another £600 or so in the next couple of years.
Remember that a good CDX can be had these days for upwards of £1,000 and they are fully serviceable. I know what I'd be buying.
Jack.
