I have found my 250 benefits from a cut down 6-inch nail wrapped in silver foil and sprinkled with salt. The listening position is critical too, I have spiked my listening chair and soaked the carpet in petrol, this improves imaging greatly, especially while smoking a cigar – Cohiba recomended. Last but not least I always listen with my feet in a bowl of salt water whilst in both hand I hold in one the earth lead which goes to the copper spike out side the house, the other goes to the ground terminal of my 82. I also go down to the local substation and cover it with tin foil, waitrose brand of course. Naturally this was all installed and approved by my local sparky.
