The US version has a free salt and pepper shaker from the diner, so I shall be stocking up on them when i hit the USA next week. Plus, there's 3 series of curb your enthusiasm out too (which incidentally, my life is increasing mirroring, except for the bits with the hollywood stars).

I'm sorry, folks but....
George Costanza is my idol.
A complete and utter loser.

Can you play DVDs from the States in the UK? Isn't there some sort of zoning thingy (he says, showing his sure grasp of technology).

George's parents were the best. The old man was a Grade-A nutjob, with his constant shouting and his homegrown Festivis holiday! I also liked Uncle Leo.
Scary thing is, growing up in NY I knew people like many of the characters!

Bhoyo - I have a multi-region DVD player. Pretty much essential in the UK if you want the best DVD version of your favourite film.
I am Larry David - a veritable "pool of wrong". Only this weekend my girlfriend and I have:
(1) moaned at the pool attendant in our gymn for not encouraging parents with their children to leave the pool at the time it becomes adults only
(2) had a small boy chucked out of the steam room
(3) moaned at the pool attendant again for (2) above
(4) moaned at the gymn manager regarding (1), (2) and (3)
(4) had a row with a woman at the cinema who was, amongst other things, feeding a small army of children infront of us nachos throughout the start of Hero, standing up, and talking to them, completely obscuring the sub titles...
(5) ...before finally walking out and having a row with the cinema staff in order to get our money back...
(6) .... and reporting some of the children that were obviously under 12 in the cinema
Nothing like a nice relaxing weekend eh?

Jon.
Correct. What's more I am now a godparent and will be doing my duty in December at the christening.
Its not ALL children, just other people's children, if you see what I mean. Actually, its the parents I have a problem with.

What with this and the Simpsons every day on Channel 4 from Nov 5th, it's like waiting for a bus for six months and then fifteen coming at once...
