The ultimate home made CD

I'm off on my holidays for four weeks in a few days. Unfortunately I have to leave my cd collection behind, and were going to places where the nightlife is going to be minimal.
I want to compile the ultimate cd, but can't think of enough classics to create it.
Songs like:
Easy - Faith No More
Every Rose has it's Thorn - Poison
November Rain - GnR
Word-up - Gun
Are already on the short-list.
Any suggestions/reminders of some of the best songs out there would be greatly appreciated!
