My mother tells me that she's just heard some geezer on the local wireless say that all of Norfolk will be Broadband enabled within a few weeks.
Surely shome mishtake?

Thanks Clive - that answers my question, but looks like an improved coverage/reach has been achieved from currently enabled exchanges.
Mine sadly is not currently enabled, so I guess it's at least a year away.
Bugger!

Braodband in Norfolk, I didn't think they had Electricity in Norfolk!

Tell you what Basil; I've got 'Freeview TV' and my mate in Herne Bay can't get it.
I'm keeping the gas lights fitted in my house though - this electricity thing will be a fad.
Cheer - O.

Herne Bay, the "Summerisle" of Kent.
P.S. at least they seem to be able to spell "Broadband" in Norfolk.

John,
When Broadband eventually comes to your area you too will benefit from lightning quick downloads and a permanent connection. Everything is just so much better and more fun. You can even make phone calls whilst connected to the net. As you know we've had Broadband for about a year now. I really have no idea how we ever coped without it. Wannado charges just £17.99 per month, great eh.
Regards...George.

Digital radio allegedly sounds better from a TV Freeview box. I have a PACE 'Twin Digital' gizmo and it sounds bloody good to me.
Ideal and easy-peasy to 'timer-record' your favourite radio progs in great sound quality. I feed the 'audio outs' into a decent amp and speakers. Mine captures the Bob Harris show every Saturday evening.

I have DAB via cable/Internet but I really want a portable too. I do use my Powerbook via wireless, but it's not as convenient!
