MS Sharepoint

Has anyone tried Sharepoint? Is it any good? I read about it a while back, and thought it looked pretty tidy. Right now I collaborate with my colleagues using a phpBB with a file attachments mod. Compared to how sharepoint looks, it is dead clunky, but then it costs me £20 a year, rather than £25 a month.
