Christmas is coming early

Dear old Auntie Beeb is giving the nation a fabulous early Xmas present - a new series of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. It's on BBC Radio 4 at 6.30pm on Monday (December 6th).

Guest panellist on Show #1(of 6) is only Linda Smith (Jeremy Hardy is usually best, followed by Tony Hawks; Stephen Fry is too smug and Sandy Toksvig not very funny), but the rest of the team, are all there, with the incomparable Humph(rey Lyttleton) attempting to control proceedings.

For those of you who don't know it, it is quite simply the funniest programme on the radio, now or ever, and is highly recommended.

Interested overseas forum members can listen to it via the Internet. Log on to (on or after 6th December 18.30 GMT):

Happy listening!

The funniest single thing I think I have ever heard was Willy Rushton singing the words of "My Old Man's a Dustman" to the tune of "Girl from Ipanema".

It's on a tape somewhere, but even the recollection makes me laugh.
