Electricity doesn't corner well??

"Keep power wires separated from signal wires--do not bunch your power wires together, but keep them flowing as gracefully as possible" (electricity does not flow effeciently around sharp corners"
Was looking through Audiogon ads, and saw one from a well knowm Naim dealer from California that included this advice. What's the deal with the corner theory?

i a guessing, but could mechancial stress on the wire change it's electrical properties?

No offense intended towards either bec143 or justiceklopper but.............

Basil,
That's exactly my point.

Cornering must be even worse at 240v then?
Cure- New shocks? Lowered voltage? Alloy wires?

It would be okay if biwired. Four wire drive corners better that Naca5 two wire drive.
I`ll see myself out!

Basil
get up off the floor and have a think why cables are made up of lots of little strands wires rather than one big one....

It's because the momentum of the wee electrons means that they pling out of the cable and smack ino the wall if the cable is bent too sharply!
(OTOH, it could be utter bollocks!)

Why does live wire get hot if you tie a knot in it?
