Any users able to share experiences? I'm considering the download so I can talk to Fritz and Alex G from my WiFi'd toilet.
PS- Just downloaded OpenOffice, Firefox, DU Meter, and Picasa- all very nice.

You can't go wrong with FireFox and OpenOfficeOrg but but you can sure piss of the feds with
Skype and even more
Skype. I think it is the P2P porocessing and a lack of a central system that can be cracked that really has the boys is blue filling their boots with a rich brown something good for the garden. You might also consider using a collection of proxies so that when you surf the web for fun or visit some of the very "artistic" site that may be found on the under belly of the net (or so I have been told) the feds will have a hard time following your journey.

I use it it works well, it is generally better then standard any low cost phone connections and you get full duplex, but then we have 1MB leased line, not sure how well it works on dial up.

I have been using Skype for a couple of weeks now on my 512/256 connection and it is very good.
Calls are very clear between the UK and my friend in Australia. Little or no lag
Would certainly say that it is worth a try.

Interesting comments. I may need to buy a headset soon to give it go (now that I have DSL). Has it been hard for you guys to convince friends and family to do the download?
PS- Are the Skype/Kaaza founders not the two baddest techie mofos on the planet?
