Furtwängler on EMI "Dacapo"?

Hi,

I purchased a large lot of classical vinyl from a retired music teacher. Among the records I found beutiful copies of Furtwängler's Tristan & Isolde (Flagstad) and Beethoven's Fidelo.

On the the release it says EMI number etc + "Dacapo". Are these later releases of these masterpieces or are they "originals"?

Any thoughts

Thanks for the informative response!

Both records are indeed pristine and the recording/performance is beautiful.

All in all I bought around 600 classical vinyl records (Angel/EMI/DG/Decca etc) most recorded in the 1950-1970 period. Dare I say what I paid? EUR 350....
