Picked up Cantaloupe Island in Borders recently. Absolutely amazing. Any suggestions on what to try next?
Steve.

ESP the landmark album he made with Miles Davis.
I rather like 1983's Future Shock, which he made with Bill Laswell and Material, and which contains "Rockit" and "Autodrive".

Cantaloupe Island is a compilation from his sixties albums, Takin' Off, Empyrean Isles and Maiden Voyage, put out post-US3 I would guess. The originals are all essential in my opinion but you've already got the 'hits' from them. Hancock has had such a chameleon career that you might do as well to explore other greats from that time like Cannonball Adderly (Something Else), Sonny Rollins or Miles Davis. Headhunters has never flipped my skirt for some reason despite being mad about Miles' fusion of the same era. I do like Future Shock but it's reasonable not to think of it as a Jazz album! The New Standard is worth a listen from his more recent stuff - well-behaved versions of unlikely pop songs - it's a return to classic style modern Jazz and the band (Michael Brecker, John Scofield, Dave Holland, Jack DeJohnette and Don Alias) are the best imaginable.
