Anyone else had this problem?

Posted by: Kevin-W on 30 July 2004

I've just ditched Internet Explorer for Safari, which is a huge improvement, but I find that I can't log onto this site using it. I can read posts OK, but can't contribute.

I had to go into IE to type this post.

I'm on Mac OSX 10.2. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like an odd one Kevin, Im using safari as i type this so the only thing i can think of is that you might have it set to block pop up windows? Try pressing the mac button and K or changing it in the safari menu...

Should be no reason for this kevin, when you first enter naim the login option is in the top right.

Kevin = Earth 2

Have you tried Sunn O)))), they do a passable homage to Earth.

I've turned the pop-up killers off, java is enabled, etc, but nothing. I click on the "login" link and bugger all happens???? 'm completely at a loss.

I'm using Safari with pop-ups blocked. Nary a problem. I have expeienced intermittent problems with other inetractive features of the Naim forum not responding (search, etc.), but from what I gather, it isn't just me, and it isn't Safari's fault.

Sorry, no idea.

Kevin
when I used Safari with OSX 10.2 I used to experience similar problems, i.e. the links on this site did not work. I seem to remember that using a right-click ( or equivalent with 1-button mouse, crtl-click) allowed me to access all of the links. I can't remeber if it was an update to Safari (make sure yours are up to date with the'software update' system preference) or changing to 10.3 that solved the problem but its working fine now.
