Mr. Pig,

maybe you are right because only few members response to the poll questions.
but - if for example you'll see that 100 members have Mana and only 50 are satesfied with it you can learn something. If you'll find that only few members have expensive stands but you know that most of the members here have Naim and enjoy naim - so you may think that the stand may be with less importance that some people think of it.

We will wait and see.

I said before - if you have a better idea to check this point lets do it.

Mr Pig,

I don't agree with you because Naim is an expensive equipment and if someone thinks it is better to upgrade a CD instead of Mana - it is meaningful.

Arie,

Do us all a favour and listen to Omer's Mana Soundframe in your system before expressing anymore opinions about stands and effects of stands you haven't heard.

Ciao!

Ok Willem,

I'll stop it - but remember that many members here are talking much about Mana and had never heard Hutter - are you asking them to do for you the same favor ?

Arie,

I think that Willem felt that if you heard the Sound frame then you would have a point of reference as to what a good stand can do.

I think that you should try & listen to Hutter if you can. If you can't find any Hutter then either get some Mana because you will then see what all the fuss is about, or choose Hutter on the
strength of the what people who have switched from Mana to Hutter have to say.

I do not believe that Naim will endorse just one make of stand. They have suggested 4 good ones, each IMHO has it's own set of virtues. Your choice of stand will be dependant on your listening room & personal preference of presentation.

No one here or at Naim can make that decision for you.

Best wishes,

Bob

Bob is right. You have the opportunity to listen to a serious stand in your system, in this case a Mana stand. Why don't you just wait to hear what this stand does to your system before jumping to any premature conclusions.

I don't recall having read anybody claiming things about stands he hasn't heard. Even Mr. Pig, who is a Mana diehard, hasn't expressed any (negative) opinion about Hutter, because he simply hasn't heard them yet. That's why your poll is no success, because most people here don't want to express an opinion about something they haven't heard (yet).
You seem to forget that Hutter is around for only one year or so and still unavailable in most places. Mana exists already 20 years and there are many Naim users who have experience with these stands in their system.

Ciao!

Willem, I didn't forget - I didn't konw it.
I didn't know either that there are FOUR leading stands manufacturers - how should I know it if here members are talking about Mana all the time.

I guess that I'm not the only one who didn't know these facts - so this post was an excelent one (applause to the one who posted it...).
