I installed 4 seperate 20amp lines with great results. The wire is rated for 30amp and the recepticles were Leviton 20amp. Some prefer the Wiremold bar with one dedicated line, I have no idea why. It's easy for me to go back and compare that confirguration and the difference is night and day.

Thanks John,
What are my options in an older house?- rewiring from the circuit board will require major surgery (and cost) -I think tearing down walls will be vetoed by my "manager".Would it be useful to dedicate the soundroom outlets onto one 20 Amp circuit?
Thanks,
Peter.
