KLF gig or a major loss to the art world, you decide.

If the KLF wanted to dispose of £1m, I would have liked to see them donate it to charity. Then many more deserving people could have benefited from the money.

At the time I thought it was just a cheep publicity stunt that just proves what a throw away society we have become.

The burning of the £1m was fully consistent with the K-Foundation's policy of "Art Terrorism". My favorite stunt (my memory is not too clear on this, so forgive me if it is slightly inaccurate) was the removal of a valuable painting to a location somewhere very remote (maybe highland of Scotland or Alaska or somewhere), where it was buried under a pile of rocks. Maybe someone remembers what the plan was, but I remember that the plot was very clever and exposed a real irony regarding the "value" of "Art".
I know Jimmy Cauty & he is far more rational and down to earth than you might imagine from his work.
This is a good sample of current work

As I remember the million quid stunt, packets containing several thousand each were given to a bus full of journalists, who had to nail each one to a post before it was burned. One suspects that few of the packets were still stuffed with dosh when they left the hands of Her Majesty's Press.

No - it really was a million quid! It was not a trick.

Maybe they were practicing for the main event!

Goodbye Elephant Dung, rats preserved in formaldehyde and a tent with a list of conquests on the walls.

Poor old Charles S is perhaps the ownly one whose crying.

I have a photo of someone making themselves comfortable in the smallest room of the house.

I have titled it.

A weight off my mind.

Should i give saatchi a ring?
