My jaw just hit the tarmac!

Well its the first of September and Santa kindly delivers me a brand new Nissan 350Z.
Its Chilli red and looks absolutely gorgeous, drives like a dream and has a Bose 240w audio sistem.
However what lets it down are those speakers, I have two huge speakers sat behind the two seats and they boom quite badly.
Here's me complaining about a lack of bass from my home sistem and complaining about too much bass in my car, its a funny old world.
Are there any suggestions about replacement speakers for the Nissan?

NB,
Get thyself over onto this forum:
350zUKYour exact problem has been discussed there. From memory, a bit of fiddling with the settings will reduce the boom without having to rip out the speakers/sub.
I hope you ticked the Rays option box!
Happy motoring,
Steve

Hi,
When we took delivery of our Mercedes the bass setting was turned waaaayyy uppp which was ridiculous - an alteration of these settings increased clarity etc straight away...

Hi Steve,
I will get myself over to the Nissan Forum.
Of course I ticked the Rays option box, they are stunning wheels and go very well with the red paintwork,
Morning Andy,
thanks for the tip, I will investigate.
did you get the patio sorted?

Its BOSE and its in a car what do you expect. I haven't heard a car system that dosn't boom at anything like reasonable listening levels.

Try a S60R Volvo, throbbing red in colour. Stereo sistem is pretty good (with Dolby surround on). And "hell the car like goes somewhat!" (George dubbya, ascent)
Ask uncle Pete, down a saloon cymbiosis he's got the V version.
