Box Office Fights
Posted by: cunningplan on 29 September 2004
I was just wondering after seeing some of the recent threads on the forum, and how they degenerate into personal abuse among some members.
Wouldn't it be fun to imagine who would be the biggest box office draw in the ring... "the fight of the century so to speak."
My money would be on Mr Toy v Mr Parry to get the most interest.
Difficult fight to call but I reckon a late knockout by Mr Parry after a bruising encounter
Regards
Clive
PS I don't like fighting..... too much of a yellow streak in me

This is not a recent change. On the old forum, wars used to break out on an almost weekly basis between the American-Canadian and Yugoslavian Canadian bretheren. In the end Mr Vuksanovic was banished, only to reappear and then be banished again on the Mana forum.
My vote therefore would by for Vuk Vuksanovic vs Mick Parry.

No.
This is Abuse.
Arguments are down the hall, third door on the left.

I reckon Mr Toy vs Mr Steve G would be a good one. Plenty of blood and broken teeth in that bout!

Or the classic combination of the Marco (aka Stallion) / Steven Toy Tag team versus the rest of the Forum (notably Herm & Matthew Robinson)
Tom
Tag tends to be more akin to wrestling which is classed more as "sports entertainment"
But then again... I can see the merits

I thought that Tag had moved into AV.

Pingu, who seems to know an awful lot about the forum for someone who just joined, said "My vote therefore would by for Vuk Vuksanovic vs Mick Parry"
Who are of course friends (or at elast e-friends with mutual respect). Such a fight would probably just descend into Mick praising Vuk's intellect and Vuk agreeing
Matthew
PS I've never met Herm and he might, for all I know, be a brusing 240lb ex-Wrestler. But all in all if there is going to be wrestling I don't want the Opera loving contempoary novelist and book reviewer on my team

I might be new to this forum, young man, but I am an old hand from the old forum and the Mana forum (!)
cj
Any more clues and this might as well be a game of cluedo
PS Bring back Joel, and his dancing friend and the scouse git and then you could have some real arguments (!) Or maybe they're all banned or on the pfmedia forum

I'd like to see a real stinker of a fight
Hungryhalibut vs Haddock
You know it makes sense.
