XP question. I really should know this.

Can anyone tell me how to remove a program from the start up sequence. I just want to open it when I want. I am sure I clicked to prevent this being in the start up but there you go "it" has deceided otherwise.
TIA

MSCONFIG & Startup folder on start bar are the keys to your solution

A really nice little bit of freeware called 'Startup Inspector' from:

http://www.windowsstartup.com/

is a very friendly & worthwhile download. It tells you what everything that loads when Windows starts is up to, where it comes from and whether it's of any significance.

One of those things like Spybot Seach & Destroy and Adaware that everyone should have.
