Want to join the music revolution?

Hi all.
I've been a registered member of this forum since before it was this forum, and can get misty-eyed about the old conference with the best of them, so I hope this isn't construed as spam.
About a year ago I started doing home recording, and a few months ago I started uploading songs at an OMD called mp3unsigned.com. I have this weird dream that independant artists releasing their own stuff will one day be a major antidote to the poison that the majors spew out, and I can see from the Nick Lees thread and others that there's a lot of interest in fairly obscure music. I think you might find some more over at mp3unsigned.com.
I know you're probably thinking out of tune guitars and dodgy voices, but there's lots of great music professionally produced over there, so come and listen if you have time. (None of this is my stuff btw, and there's much much more. These are just a few personal favourites.)
Kind of weird hip hop
http://www.mp3unsigned.com/showmp3.asp?mp3ID=144&aid=111
'Music for people with short attention spans'
http://www.mp3unsigned.com/Showmp3.asp?mp3id=1454&aid=704
Jangly pop stuff:

And lots more besides, so you could just browse the A&R showcase here http://www.mp3unsigned.com/Showcase.asp .
Most of it you can download for free, so you can always convert the mp3s to wavs and play them on your CDSIIIs too.
Administrators: If this is out of line then please feel free to delete this post or move it to the padded cell or whatever.
Cheers
Jon
