Someone hide the razors from BrianD. It's all going Leeds at the Toon!

Quite happy with the appointment of Souness.
The only thing that's bothered me is the timing of sacking Robson, should have been done in summer 2003, although people at work couldn't believe it when I was saying it all that time ago.
Some of the players are good, but Robson had lost the dressing room. If Souness can get them playing we'll do ok, so time will tell if he can do it.
It's worth mentioning that when we lost Keegan we brought in a manager with a fantastic track record, two championships at two different clubs under two different circumstances. He flopped badly. There are no guarantees no matter what the past record is, after all, Keegan didn't have a track record and he's still given Newcastle their best team in my lifetime.

For no other reason than my predictions seem to be holding up reasonably well I thought it would be time for a review. Arsenal and Chelsea are battling it out for the top two, Man U nowhere and behind Liverpool. Boro are benefitting from 'Mad Jimmy' sticking the goals in. I was wrong about Everton being relegation candidates though, wishfull thinking. How is everyone else doing?

I'd be doing a lot better if Kezman (my pick for leading scorer) stopped wearing Mutu's boots.
BTW, what's the consensus about Trevor Francis' commentary/analysis? I always liked him as a player, and find him surprisingly astute on the telly.
