100th Window now?

Gone back to it for another listen. Is it..
a. Majorly yawnful, bereft of good ideas and the most disappointing album in recent years?
or
b. Some seriously wicked, dark grooves that bounce off the walls beautifully. Hugely under rated?
Opinions please gentlemen..

I keep seeing this cheap but have refrained from buying it due to the bad reviews it has got. I can't imagine it being better than Mezzanine.

Na sorry Alex, I think 100th window pales significantly against plently of other work, its a dire album which even manages to sound like House music towards the end, heaven help us.

I listened to it only one time. I was disappointed.
Should I listen to it once again?

Mezzanine was so nearly all things to all people - its certainly one I play loads. 100th window was sooo far behind it but, as AG says, its still not bad compared to output by many other bands of this type...

Aw c'mon. There are some seriously wicked grooves on 100th window. On the 45rpm 3lp in particular, this is my late night "go to" album. F*** the nay-sayers, put it on, put Mezzanine out of your mind (yes, better, but so what?), and let your mind be blown...

Nah, its bland and goes nowhere. Formulaic even. Very sad as the first three all rock. The choice of Sinead as guest singer sucks also.
Course it probably depends how smokey the room you're sitting in is..
YMMV etc
