iTunes
Posted by: Haddock on 27 October 2004
There are a bunch of us at work that use iTunes. Some of us have visibilty of the other users and can therefore listen to their collections. Others cannot see any other users.
Does anyone out there have an explanation for this?

In itunes preferences there is a tab that says sharing, if you activate this everyone else can see your list

We already have sharing enabled. There is some other phenomenon in play.

Um, sorry thats about the extent of my knowledge, perhaps it comes down to internal sharing in general, can these people see other peoples ahrddrives etc,
I know on the mac you have to allow sharing in the prefrences.

Can one download to the iPod from non-iTunes P2P networks such as Limewire?
Thanks,

Download tunes via limewire, then drag them into itunes, it will then go onto your ipod. BAsically any tunes sucessfully imported into itunes will go onto the ipod.
