Oktober bier drinkin' Part II

Posted by: Steve Toy on 14 October 2004

Many thanks to Mike Lacey.

Today I visited my nearest branch of Majestic Wine at Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield.

I parked my car round the back, walked in and spotted the cases of Paulaner Original Munchner and Paulaner Heffe-weissbier that I was after.

The manager appeared and I asked him for a case of each. I told him that I'd found the place on the internet. He gave me a catalogue, took my details including my email address and said that in future, in lieu of ordering a minimum of 12 bottles of wines and/or spirits with any order for beer, I could simply order a minimum of two cases of beer and they would be delivered to my door FOC.

Result!

Thanks again Mike. Smile

Regards,

Steve.

You have two guesses as to what I'm drinking right now

What's with the rash of "sequel" threads recently ? Is it a new fashion ?

What's wrong with the old threads ?

At your service.

I was going to add a list of other German beers available - you've seen some - Bitburger also in Majestic.

Glad to have been of use

Mike
