Believe it or not, when I look for Linn dealer in Israel (for the Adikt) THIS is what I get.
Are you looking for a kitchen?

A produkt very similar to linn.Top Quality,high

Sorry to disappoint you O.J., no I haven't ordered a Bulthaup - in fact I had never heard of it until Ayre_Gur's post!
You may or not be interested to know, and indeed it's scarcely relevant in Hifi Corner, but UK Forum members may be more familiar with the so-called Magnet Albany Shaker-style kitchen which, if all goes to plan, we'll be gracing my little house in a less than a month's time!

Kitchens. Off-topic.
Started looking at Kitchens about 2 weeks ago. Got a quote from small company called Roundhouse Designs. 20K. Whilst it's lovely (bespoke; solid wood yada yada), it's a bit pricey IMHO. Less dosh for hifi
So how have you found dealing with Magnet - our experience was pretty poor (and that was just whilst in the shop).

I was looking for a new kitchen but then someone suggested putting it on mana and using Chord for the wiring. It put me right of it

Still off-topic...
My wife wandered into Bulthaup once "by mistake". Makes Roundhouse prices look like MFI. We eventually persuaded Roundhouse to sell us some their fittings. You can tart-up standard MFI/Ikea units this way and the overall effect looks quite smart. Next kitchen I do will have cheap laminated chipboard carcasses from wherever and bespoke solid wood doors with nice handles.
Magnet - are they of the perpetual 50% sale?

I'm no expert on these things, but Magnet is the company and I believe 'Albany' is the name they give to this particular style of kitchen. 'Shaker'-style refers to the style of front panel - in this case a recessed-rectangle effect which I rather like (if anyone has a better description please feel free).
Hope that answers your question!

Woody,
A confession: I didn't actually deal with Magnet myself - my dad dealt with them on my behalf. He's a (semi)-retired builder of many years standing so tends to know what he's talking about (well, he sounds like he does to me
Anyway he came to my house and did all the measurements and Magnet then specc'd everything up and priced it - it came to roughly 2 grand all in. We did go together to B&Q on Sunday for an alternative quote but they were looking to charge over two and half grand with a lead time double that of Magnet so, as is often said on this Forum, it was a bit of a no-brainer really.

JonR
