Oh yes of course - I think it was because someone posted about logging on to the Forum in the toilet....Winker

Actually I was reading the letters section of Hi Fi News. I thought 'Typical! I come in here for a bit of quiet contemplation and the Naim fourm follws me in!' (no offense Tom). But we do have wireless access in the small room. And two servers with a fibre optic backbone connections and RAID. I thought everyone did.

I'm starting Jon's thread immediately. A gross oversight and something which I now realise was nothing short of a slap in the face. Sorry Jon - my error was only one of omission. Pressure of work and all that.....

Harry,

Thank you.

And your gracious apology is, of course, accepted.

So ... any idea why Tom has given the Forum the boot? Just curious, but I did enjoy his postings and will be disappointed if he does not reappear.

Mike,

A private conversation was had between Tom and Naim, following which his posting rights were rescinded. Tom still posts on Pink Fish and Zerogain, though.

with a healthy dose of diplomacy and decent PR - the likes one could have expected from either Paul Darwin or Doug Graham, or even le Big Boss Paul Stephenson (RESPECT chaps) it shouldn't have reached such a state of terminality.

Just my 2p.

Steven

Do you ever know when to shut up.

Telling me to shut up often has the adverse effect.

However, in this case I've probably said more than enough.

Steve.
