Riff Rip Off's

I popped Magazines Where The Power Is compilation ITC this morning and have had this nagging question all day. The Track The Light Pours Out Of Me has one of the best intro's ever, drum -> bass -> guitar riff. It's the guitar riff that's got Gary Glitter all over it, but I can't find the exact song. The closest I can hear is rock and roll (part 2), but it might be something else. Another question is, if there was a rip off who did it and when? Can anyone help, thanks?
