Gentlemen

I have been very surprised to receive 11 personal E Mails, each asking me to reconsider my decision to quit the forum. Even more surprisingly, one of those E Mails actually came from Naim.

The reason why I decided to quit was not due to being driven out by Ian Wright or others, as commonly supposed, in fact my natural tendency is the same as his, to keeping sending out letters until the other person gives in.

The reason for quitting was that I thought that I was probably getting on everyones nerves and that perhaps, the jokey style which is natural to me, was now inappropriate and was becoming detrimental to the forum.

However, after receivng 11 personal E mails plus the "poll" my wife has convinced me that perhaps I have not got it as wrong as I thought.

Therefore I have decided to exercise "an old womens" priveledge and continue to contribute as before with my style remaining virgo intacto.

Many thanks to all of you who took the time and effort to get me to change my mind, it really did surprise me.

Regards

Mick

Mick,

Sorry I couldn't back you up, but I'm on business abroad.

Good to know the "voice of reason" is still here

Hi Mick,
could have been 12 personal e-mails, but I didn't manage to find your personal e-mail address. Good to see you changed your mind: I count on your advices concerning decent (British-made) quality items for my future visits to the UK!
Cheers

Mick,

Although you certainly don't need any more convincing, here's another reason to return to the forum - you're a role model. Seriously.

For those of us unwise enough to have children, it's a comfort to see someone who's actually emerged from the other side of parenthood with enough wit to recognize the value of music and Naim gear, and enough discretionary income to act on it.

Cheers,

John Schmidt
