Yes indeed Martin - you beat me to it. I intended to 'post' about this documentary which was on Beeb 4 a few weeks ago.

I've seen R.T. live, many times and have a lot of his stuff. Vastly under rated. His electric guitar style (as a teenager!) in Fairport was something completely new.

He writes the most wonderful lyrics for disturbingly dark songs about love gone wrong.

Uneasy listening indeed.

Whether solo acoustic or with a band, he is superb, live.

You as well! Thought I’d put this post on tonight to bump the thing up again. I’d only heard of him as being some guitarist when I found some albums and CD’s in a 2nd hand vinyl shop that blew me away, the were Rumor and Sigh, Amnesia, Mock Tudor and Small Town Romance, still getting into him.
Regards
Martin

Good selection. Keep digging, well worthwhile.
The Tv documentary is a good one gives a flavour of the man. Well worth seeing live solo or with his band both excellent.
