Surrounded at Christmas

To the existing naim system has been added:
A Yamaha DSP E800 (which I am delighted with - thanks Frank)
Pioneer DV636 (which was delivered by hand by Techtronics at 12.20 AM!! in the early hours of Thur morning - I'd all but given up on the delivery and was just about to go to bed. 'Akin' the chap who was handling my order then coupled it all up and spent an hour watching movies and marvelling at the sound of Naim and Michell.
Eltax HT2 bipolar surround speakers which are miles better than my Kan's were at the rear effects and at only £149 are very effective indeed and have a high 'WAF'.
REL Q50 sub on loan from Audio T (good but nowhere near as good as the Storm 3 I borrowed earlier in the year (sadly - it's half the price!)
Sanyo LCD projector (on loan from work!)
My old slide projection screen
We've been in the last 3 nights watching movies in our 'theatre on the cheap' and love it. I just don't know how we are ever going to go back to watching a 29" Sony again - projection has to be the way to go if only my pockets were deep enough!
Thanks to everyone for all the advice in my DVD thread - thought you may appreciate hearing how I'm getting on. Hearing things going on all around you adds greatly to the immersion in a film in my book. I'm even beginning to wonder if the earth really is flat!
The cat seems really intrigued by the whole thing - keeps looking around the room for crickets, low flying aircraft, powerboats and birds!! Not sure he likes the REL much though because it's near his favourite chair!
