Daypop + RSS aggregator =

If you had Daypop, you'd already know.

It's the net's way of telling you what's going on, or like google telling you what you should be searching for. If they added a fastest movers feed it would be perfect, but as it is, it's the lazy man's meta analysis of the net.

And because I am using Sharpreader, I don't even have to make the effort to switch programmes to check it.

Daypop + sharpreader = highly recommended.

Must agree, I've been using Daypop for an age although not with sharpreader. Have you seen (Popdex crawls over 14,000 sites daily to determine the most popular links on the Internet)? Not quite as good as Daypop but imo well but worth a visit for a week or so.

Yeah, I've used daypop, popdex, and blogdex. Of the three, daypop works best for me, mainly because of the better spread of feeds. Other than that, they are all doing the same job.

It's the rss feed thing that makes it for me. I really hope firefox rips off the headline pop-up thing sometime soon.
