Fridge of Satan

I recently started getting a loud, intermittent buzzing sound through my speakers. I then noticed that I got static through my TV and kitchen radio whenever the speakers were acting up. The dealer suggested shielding my TT wires with Al foil, which can ward off RF interference. No luck. I set up a different power amp and the noise went away. Naim suggested sending in the 250. No sooner had I done so than the noise came back. I called in the electrician, who couldn't find a wiring problem. Then I noticed that the fridge made a buzzing noise whenever the radio, the TV and the stereo were acting up. Unplugging the fridge makes the noise go away in mid-buzz. Culprit identified. The repairman is on the way.
Has anyone else ever run into this?
