I bought their latest album on vinyl recently (through diverse records a sister company of Diverse Music) and I cannot over state how impressed I am by this album. It is absolutely my record of the year and you should all go and buy it! I thoroughly recommend the diverse lable by the way, all three of their releases so far have been superb and they are concentrating on music they actually like as opposed to what they can shift the most of! I probably wouldn't have bought the Dolly Vardon album (Forgiven Now) if it hadn't appeared on vinyl, I will now be buying the rest of their output.

I understand that 'dumbest magnates' is going to be the next release on the diverse label. I will wait to hear a release date and if it's too far away i will buy the CD.

I have 'The Dumbest Magnets' having been introduced to the band by Bob Harris.

He tells us that the band name is taken from an obscure breed of fish.

True or tripe?
