Digital Interconnects and the job of DAConversion

Hi,
which Digital cable do AV people use between DVD5 and AV2 other than the DC1?
Has anyone experimented between DVD5's analogue out and AV2 doing the DAC instead?
I am very curious, though I'll soon be able to do the test myself since I am waiting for my DVD5 to arrive.
Thanks for all opinions.

The DVD5 analogue outputs are for use as a stereo source or multi-channel DVD Audio playback which you can connect to the AV2. For DVDs, Dolby Didital, DTS etc can only be done in the AV2 NOT the DVD5 therefore you need to use the Digital output from the DVD5 to the AV2.

I was meaning on stereo material, such as CD, but forgot to specify.
Anyway, I have found a number of posts about the subject...My usual habit of writing before reading.
