For £100 try http://www.richersounds.com/cgi-bin/productInfo.cgi?sid=b5e33c596.123456&productID=5775
For £189 (you get improved digitial electronics for arguably better picture/sound + better connectivity) try http://www.richersounds.com/cgi-bin/productInfo.cgi?sid=b5e33c596.123456&productID=5258

As already noted, they just don't seem to exist.
I bought a Pioneer 535 DVD last year on the grounds that the hi-fi press said it "sounded pretty good as a CD player".
Being fair, sounded OK when compared to an old Marantz CD52 se. In comparison to my Arcam 7se, it gets completely murdered.
In addition, did some experimentation a few months ago and listened to DVD players upto £700 (Pioneer & marantz), comparing them to an Arcam CD72. Neither of the DVD players got even close to the Arcam CD player.
So, my advice would be to ignore it's CD capability completely, and focus on just it's video capabilities. I understand that Tosh DVDs are great, and that's what I'd buy now, along with a good CD player.

Belsizepark,
I can vouch for the Tosh - build is light but the picture is very good.
